DMG – Miracle Supplement?

Would you believe me if I told you that there is a supplement that helps to reduce stress, improve your cardiovascular health, support your immune system, and improve athletic performance? And, what if I told you that this same supplement promotes increased neurological function in those with autism, helps reduce seizures in those with epilepsy, aids the body in recovery from intense physical acivity and degenerative diseases like diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, and more? Chances are  you’d be eager for me to tell you more about this ostensible miracle supplement. So, here it goes.

What is DMG?

DMG or dimethylglycine is a derivitive of the simplest amino acid, glycine. It is an adaptogen, a metabolic enhancer, and methyl donor. It is a natural substance found in low levels in the body and in certain foods like meat (liver), beans, seeds, and grains. Humans and animals produce DMG in small amounts, and it affects nearly every metabolic pathway within the cell. Initially used as a performance enhancer for Russian athletes and cosmonauts, this dietary supplement helps to support immune system, circulatory, cardiovascular and neurological functions, muscle recovery and endurance, and so much more. DMG is an intricate part of human metabolism and has been used in the health field as a nutritional supplement for over 25 years.

Research and clinical experience has shown that DMG supplementation supports:

  • Physical and mental performance
  • Oxygen utilization
  • Both arms of the immune system, including antibody, lymphocyte and cytokine production
  • Detoxification, especially in the liver
  • Circulation and vascular health
  • Glucose and fat metabolism
  • Blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides and homocysteine levels within normal ranges
  • Physical and mental energy levels by reducing lactic acid build-up during periods of stress
  • Mental alertness and brain function
  • Overall body health by acting as an indirect methyl donor and providing useful building units for the biosynthesis of vitamins, hormones, neurotransmitters, antibodies and nucleic acids
  • Providing useful building units for the biosynthesis of vitamins, hormones, neurotransmitters, antibodies, nucleic acids, and other metabolically active molecules
  • Anti-viral, antibacterial properties and modulates inflammation responses

DMG supplementation helps to prevent and relieve symptoms associated with:

  • Headaches
  • Migraines
  • Insomnia
  • Muscle Pains
  • Angina
  • Arteriosclerosis
  • Shortness of breath

EnerDMG is an adaptogen that can be used to maintain good health and benefit performance and productivity. As a metabolic enhancer, DMG supports the body in times of stress, throughout the aging process, and during immune system challenges.

DMG for Arthritis, Lupus, and Other Autoimmune Conditions

Research studies and clinical trials have shown DMG to be an immune system modulator. It is significant for its ability to both support the immune response and also down regulate an immune attack of self antigens in autoimmune patients.

Conditions shown to benefit from DMG supplementation

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Diabetes
  • Pernicious Anemia
  • Lupus (1)
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Gout
  • Lyme disease
  • Epstein Bar
  • and more

Opening Metabolic Pathways

A metabolic pathway is a series of chemical reactions in a cell that build and breakdown molecules for cellular processes. There are two general types of metabolic pathways: catabolic and anabolic. Catabolic pathways release energy while breaking down molecules into simpler molecules. Cellular respiration is one example of a catabolic pathway. During cellular respiration, sugar is taken in by the cell and broken down to release energy that allows us to live.

These processes in our body are necessary for us to live. The clearer these pathways are, the better our body functions. DMG improves the function of several metabolic pathways. It helps maximize the amount of energy produced for each molecule of oxygen consumed, resulting in improved physical endurance. It is beneficial to blood sugar and lipid metabolism as well as liver function. DMG’s ability to support immune competence and improve oxygen utilization are two key ways that  this supplement supports wellness and optimizes health.

Our Front Desk Coordinator, Georgene’s

Weight Loss with EnerDMG

Like many of us, our Front Desk Coordinator Georgene gained some weight during the covid-19 quarantine. In fact, Georgene weighed more than she ever had in her life. Not only was she tired, anxious, and suffering from joint pain, but she was hungrier than ever and her workouts were becoming less and less frequent. She just didn’t have any energy at all. When she mentioned her concerns, I started her on EnerDMG immediately.

Georgene noticed a boost in energy 20 minutes after taking her first dose. But, three days later, she seemed noticeably different. She was her bright and smiling self again. Her energy was back, and she had restarted her workout routine. Two weeks later she joined CrossFit. A month later, she had dropped seven pounds, and now just eight weeks later, she is down 16 pounds! She is brimming with energy.

I have never felt better in my life. I am brimming with energy, mental clarity, and I am free of joint pain. I cannot recommend this supplement enough.” – Georgene Brown
