“The natural healing power of prolozone cannot be understated.”

What is Prolozone?

Unlike other options for chronic pain, Prolozone works to corrects the root cause (or pathology) of the problem. This allowing the body to heal itself naturally. This is a fantastic alternative to pain medication and risky surgery. It is safe, highly successful, and cost-effective. It is a technique for pain relief that involves injecting ozone and other natural medications into degenerated or injured joints and other areas of pain.

What are the Benefits of Prolozone?

Because Prolozone involves the injection of a gas in large volumes which expands into a large area of surrounding tissue, it is not as critical to pinpoint each Prolozone injection as it is when using other types of injection therapy. Thus, it is easier to treat an area with fewer injections.

Prolozone can stimulate the regeneration of damaged cartilage in knees, shoulders, ankles, and hips.

  • Decreased pain
  • Increased range of motion
  • Stabilization/potential regeneration of the affected area

Prolozone FAQs

IS PROLOZONE PAINFUL?

Prolozone Therapy can provide almost immediate relief to some patients after only one injection. The injection is virtually pain-free and requires zero recovery time.  This and prolozone’s high success rate make it one of the safest and most cost-effective alternatives to joint replacement surgeries and pain medications.

As a powerful oxidizing agent, ozone also has several other effects that are important for tissue repair and regeneration:

  • Ozone can stimulate growth factor production and release (1).
  • Ozone can activate the membrane receptors through which growth factors exert their effects: a paper published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry established a novel role for the mitochondrion as a proximal target specific to oxidant induced signaling and growth factor transactivation (2).
  • Ozone can mediate the effects of the various growth factors (3).
